Dev Log 4 - Learning Reflection: how will this prepare me for next semester?


The work we have done so far will help me prepare for next semester because we are getting the prototyping out of the way early. Our goal is to see what we can accomplish for our game inside of Unreal Engine 5 this semester so that we can get some real experience that can be used in the industry, since UE5 is industry standard. 

Originally we had thought that making our game in Godot would work best, and while this is true, as Godot is quite efficient and easy to pick up, Unreal makes more sense for our paths going forward.

Additionally, the risk chart is helping us assess what we need to scope down on, or start working on sooner. 

Overall, I feel hopeful that we will be well prepared to jump into development next semester.
